    How to read this

Payer applications run side by side, so the total is set by the slowest payer, not the sum of all of them. The ranges are typical figures that providers commonly report, not promises. Each payer and state works at its own pace, and missing documents or an out-of-date CAQH profile are the most common causes of delay.

Your billing start date is the payer's effective date, so ask for it in writing before you schedule their members. For the difference between credentialing and enrollment, read this short guide.

    Questions

    Common questions

Do I need to be credentialed to bill insurance?

Most payers require a provider to be credentialed and enrolled before they will pay claims. Requirements differ by payer, so we confirm them for the panels you choose.

What is CAQH and do I need it?

CAQH is a shared provider profile that many payers use to verify your information. Keeping it complete and current avoids delays, and we can help with that.

Can you guarantee how long it takes?

No. Each payer sets its own timeline, so we track every application and follow up, but we cannot promise approval dates.
